Resources for Exhibitors
The exhibit area will be immediately adjacent to both the physician and the ophtalmic technician lecture rooms. All breaks and lunch will be served in the exhibit hall. The WAO wants this to be a useful experience for all of our exhibitors, and we will do our best to bring attendees into the exhibit area.
Attendance -- Historically, we have had about 30-50 ophthalmologists on average at this conference, with as many as 75. In addition, about 50 ophthalmic technicians are anticipated.
Number of exhibitors -- Typically, about 15 companies participate in this conference. Generally they are evenly divided between pharmaceutical companies and equipment manufacturers.
Format -- All exhibits will be set for a tabletop display with a 6-foot skirted table. We can accommodate a limited amount of equipment if you wish to display it. Please be sure to note on your registration form if you require electricity at your display table; electricity will be provided free of charge.
Timing -- We ask that exhibits be set up and ready by 7:30 a.m. The exhibit hall will be open for exhibitors at 6:00 a.m. If you require additional time for set-up, please contact the WAO office at 847-680-1666; we will do our best to accommodate you.
Shipping -- CLICK HERE for shipping information (PDF document). If you are planning to ship any large crates, please contact the WAO office so we can notify the hotel. Since storage at the hotel is very limited, please time your shipments to arrive not more than one or two days before the conference. We strongly recommend that a company representative tracks arrival of your items to make sure they have been delivered no later than the Friday before the meeting (February 17).

4:30 p.m. -- Conference adjourns
