The US House of Representatives this evening passed the six-month Medicare physician pay fix that passed the Senate last week. The legislation temporarily reverses the 21 percent Medicare physician pay cut in place since June 1 and replaces it with a 2.2 percent pay update through Nov. 30. The bill now will go to President Obama for his signature. CMS will automatically reprocess claims filed June 1 to 24 that are being paid at the lower rate.
